Veteran Jeep Trail Ride on Apr 20, 2024. The ride was attended by 7 veterans, 3 spouses and 1 SAL member. Participants were treated to door prizes before the ride to start the day off right! Then it was on to the Blue Ridge WMA and up Hawk Mountain, riding along Noontootla Creek. At the top of the mountain, the convoy turned left and proceeded down the mountain along Rock Creek, passing by Rock Creek Lake, the Frank Gross Campground and the USFS Fish Hatchery, before ending the ride at Van Zandt’s Grill for a delicious hamburger. Each veteran that participated received a “Veteran Duck” to display on the dash of their jeep. It was a beautiful ride in the scenic North Georgia Mountains! Pics attached.
